This is a tour of historic WWII aircraft which visited the local Katy airport in March. There was a Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress, a Consolidated B-24 Liberator and a P-51 Mustang. These aircraft are based in Florida and operated by the Collings Foundation; they tour the USA annually. Also on site was a Bell UH-1 "Huey" helicopter which is based at a Collings facility in Houston. Rides were available in all the aircraft (for a price!). The B-17 made one flight and the B-24 made two flights on the day I was there.
A 1930's "barnstormer" bi-plane was also on hand to give rides.
